Catching up on some older messages.....finally!
You pooh poohed us unwheelchaired persons as in "ha ha, you
have to rake the leaves cause I am in a wheelchair." Well,
let me tell you about a friend of mine, although since moved
to Las Vegas. When he lived here, he had the most beautiful
garden. He was wheelchair bound except he did everything in
that garden sitting on the ground and using his arms to move
himself along. He poured cement stepping stones, did all
the plantings and in general kept everything in a beautiful
order. I was pretty impressed since I have a pretty good
idea about plants and nurseries down here. This guy was a
dynamo. So, I guess if you have use of upper torso, raking
leaves can still be accomplished. Darn it, right? On the
other hand, if I don't know what I am talking about, please
let me know!
