Hi Steve, I just bought a light probe to use on my new job. I got it from the Telephone Pioneers in Oregon. It was only $25 and works pretty well for the lights on the switchboard. So, I would think that it would work for you too. I don't have their number any more though, however I got it from NFB so they might be able to give it to you. Paula ... I beleive that the probes whitch they were selling were built by Northern Telacom. Some light probes will not recognize when a LED is on, because itt is such a small light.
