SG> hi I am wondering if any one has any information about where I
SG> can get a light probe that works.

Hi Steve,

I just bought a light probe to use on my new job. I got it from the
Telephone Pioneers in Oregon. It was only $25 and works pretty well for
the lights on the switchboard. So, I would think that it would work for
you too.

I don't have their number any more though, however I got it from NFB so
they might be able to give it to you.

Paula

You might also call Arkansas Enterprises for the blind in Little rock,
arkansas. A few years ago they were selling them for about $35.00.
I beleive that the probes whitch they were selling were built by
Northern Telacom.
Hope this little bit of information can be of some help to you.

 AP> Hi Walter,

AP> Well, I dunnow if it reads led's if you mean does it distinguish the color.
 AP> I
AP> don't think so, but it does have a volume control and it does detect ligh

No, I don't mean if it distinguishes color. Some light probes will not recognize when a LED is on, because itt is such a small light.

               Walter
