Well, it seems the on-line book store is off-line for now.
I haven't heard from them for a month or so.  I've heard that
they're re-thinking the program.  I'll kepp ya'll posted on what
comes of this.  Well, at least they haven't debitted my mastercard
yet.

Hi Jim; I visited the Reader Project booth at Closing the gap.
They said they would start shipping software as soon as they got back
from the conference.
I also paid the $300.
I will keep you posted and please do the same.

When You say the "On-Line Bookstore" I presume you mean the Reader
Project.  They have had trouble finishing the software that will
allow people to download books, so for the time being, they are
going to distribution of books on disk.  Further, because of the
delays, they say that they are going to refund the money for those
people who paid for the Beta package.  Finally, the release package
will be priced at $295 instead of $495 because of the lack of the
toll-free downloading.  I think yhat you will still be able to
order toll-free, just not get the books.

If anyone is interested, KANSYS Inc., is becoming a dealer for the Reader
Project.
