Index Number: 11683 [This is from the Blink Talk Conference] I also hav the talking watch and cube clock from Radio Shack. The main reason that I wanted the cube clock was for the timer and that clock usually stays in the kitchen. The talking time 1 was put out by Sharp and has got to be the best talking clock ever made. It's also the easiest one to set. It has a stopwatch feature which I make use of quite often when I'm putting music on tape. I will occasionally use my watch, but if I'm going to have to make it talk a lot, I'd rather wear out the batteries in the clock because they're easier to replace. Incidentally, if you've ever heard a clock with the same voice as your watch, you've heard the talking time 1.
