[misc.handicap] Bibliographic Sources for Legal Rights outside the US

Index Number: 11717

As many of you know, I am a late-deafened adult, having been deafened
three years ago at 47 years of age. Furthermore, many of you realize
that I am an Associate Professor at Southern Illinois University. In
my professional role I have been in the past, and continue to be, an
active researcher. However, since becoming deaf my research interests
have expanded to include the legal rights of and social services
available for persons with disabilities in countries throughout the
world. Accordingly, I thought I would post a request to this list
asking for bibliographic assistance in this area. I would appreciate
learning of any books, professional journal or magazine articles,
newspaper stories, or radio/TV shows that you have read, heard, or
seen which concern the legal rights of and/or social services available
to persons with disabilities in any country anywhere in the world.
As always, I sincerely appreciate your help!

                             Virtually,

                      ROY E. MILLER

             THE PROFESSOR WHO NEVER LISTENS,
