Index Number: 11854 Hi I am a T6 paraplegic, I have been in a chair for just over a year and am still learning a lot about what equipment there is available. I have heard about a device called a parawalker which allows a paraplegic to walk with the aid of crutches. This device is a form of excoskeleton which supports the body from chest down. I am looking for anybody who has used such a device and can tell me if they found it useful and what its limitations are. For example how steep a hill could you climb, can you negotiate stairs, how rough can the ground be etc. Any help, advice or experience that you can pass onto me will be great. Thanks and cheers.. _______________________________________________________________________________ John. B. Miezitis.
