You will hear good and bad about different programs that are available. For me, I run Artic (2.10) and find it most acceptable. If you have not subxcribed already, I strongly encourage you to start receiving TACTIC. It is now available in largeprint and braille. Braille is $10 and Largeprint is $16 annually. Published quarterly, this mag is an excellent resource on adaptive technology and has a lot of information about software being run by blind and visually impaired people. To subscribe, send a check to Clovernook Printing House for the Blind, 7000 Hamilton Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45231. When time permits, I try to write an article for Deborah Kendrick (the editor) and she's even published a few. Good luck and keep us all posted.
