There is a new group dealing with breathing and independent living. You
may be interested. My friend Dr Woodill, sent me this. He is an EdD in
special education and teaches at OISE Toronto. I received this on
Bitnet, but thought it was interesting enough to post here.

Tzipporah,

The new group which has started in Toronto is called
the Committee for Independent Living and Breathing. Although it
is being headed by a parent, one of the prominent people
nvolved is a woman named Audrey King, a psychologist
who is physically disabled and uses "positive pressure" at
night. She works at the Hugh Macmillan Centre (formerly the
Ontario Crippled Children's Centre) in Toronto, and can be
reached at work at (416) 424-3827. She has also authored a
book of cartoons on disability. She can tell you about this
group, and give you other contacts in this area.

Gary
I find this a facination. I know we link to Canada, so it occured to me
this may be of great utility to you up there (Red Maple .. do you hear
me?)
