Index Number: 12066 Some time ago, Steven Henry mentioned the TEDI-NET BBS located in the Washington, DC area. Apparently that BBS is using the Intelemodem by Ultra-Tec and some software called TEDI-VERTER to facilitate communication between computer users (ASCII) and TDD userws (Baudot). I am a little confused, and hope that someone can straighten me out. I thought the Intelemodem handled the translation from ASCII to Baudot. Exactly what is the TEDI-VERTER? What does it do? Why is it needed? Who wrote it? Where can it be obtained? How much does it cost? And what are the hardware requirements for its use?
