Allen: You asked whether there is life after martial arts. You
mentioned having taught it for 16 years before your injury. 16
years is pretty close to the sign-up period for some countries'
women in the military. It's a big change. You may be hearing from
another martial artist with a disability. She is on another
network but is very familiar with computer capabilities. If I knew
how to get my bitnet to talk to your fido, you wd be hearing more
from me. Yes, there is a LOT to do from The Chair, thanks to the
computer! At the moment, my other martial arts friend and I are
looking for a martial arts network. Do you know of any?

Tell us what you can do now and like to do. We will work on seeing
what develops from that.

Meanwhile, wish me luck in the Dec 1st Maritime Tsuruoka
Tournament. I was tapped for a team kata last Friday! We went to
the 2nd rehearsal last night. We were more in the dark than
usual. The village transformer blew. Left everyone on their
honour to stay DOWN in the kiba- dachi! Stay tuned.

Keep on wheelin', Sharon
