Index Number: 11586 Walter, I also use windows to read messages, however, I have a window set to just read the body of a regular message. I make this window a monitor window so as I go through messages, they are read automatically. We call this an Auto Alert Sub-Screen in PROVOX. If I hear USENET header information I can manually invoke a window to just read me that body. If a message interests me I can then check top for subject, sender, receiver etc. David Andrews ... Index Number: 12110 [This is from the Blink Talk Conference] DS> Will Provox easily go into extended memory? The current version of provox does not automatically use extended or expanded memory. the next version, 4.0 will use expanded memory if available. It should be out some time in late winter or early spring. I have heard that some of the programs that use extended memory have had problems with some programs, particularly spreadsheets such as 1-2-3 that use extended memory. Another option with PROVOX is to use a program like QEMM to move it to high memory. It is easy to move, because of its small size. David Andrews ...
