Index Number: 12130 This is from Variety-N-Spice BBS, Greater Detroit, MI, (313) 885-8377, *-N-1, 300/1200/2400 as posted to another BBS, where I saw it. The information reported here is claimed to be current as of 3/90. The Sysop claims that Michigan Bell and apparently the other Baby Bells (Hells Bells!) are attempting to define all phone lines, including residential voice lines, as BUSINESS lines if a modem is used on them incidentally... even once! This means higher rates AND hefty deposits for modem users. This is a Bad Thing for the disABLED community.
