Index Number: 12096 No, I was not suggesting using wheel chair pilots for moving targets !!! Actualy, I think that a "wheel chair Olympics" shooting match for chair pilots would be a great deal as both a moral builder and to show the general public that just because one part doesn't work so well does not mean other parts are not entirely up to snuff. I have modified a couple chairs for folks to use for shooting who also did not have the use of both arms and hands. I built on for a young cowboy who had a horse roll on him. He had the use of one arm and hand to some extent but gave up and lost that also. I built a chair with a built in gun rest for him and he got his interest back and got to where he could shoot a rifle one handed. He has now gotten enough use of the other arm to where he can get out of the chair with crutches for a little ways. This may have been exceptional but it did help him. Helped me a lot too, seing what he accomplished. I am not confined to a chair but must use crutches to cover any distance. I still use a chair if I have to be "up" and around a lot all day. It just adds a lot to my mobility. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!321!203!Gale.Barrows Internet: Gale.Barrows@f203.n321.z1.fidonet.org

True. I use to use a camera tripod to balance the rifle while sitting in the chair and also hunted deer using the car as a blind. It was a tan color and the farmer invloved din't mind. -=joe=- -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!150!140!Joe.Chamberlain Internet: Joe.Chamberlain@f140.n150.z1.fidonet.org
