I was at the users meeting in denver with you. I was at that time
and at initial receiving of the arken stone enthusiastic but I have
cooled considerably and I feel like I am in a vacuum because I can't
get it to reaed things I bring home from the office corectly or
things that come in the mail without a lot of errors and I play with
the contrast and stuff with little improvements. I don't think the
new software is going to improve recognition and I am just waiting
for it. but now the stuff sits on the desk ffor weeks at a time
without use because I am so discouraged and it is more trouble than
it is worth. unless things get better speaking only for me I made a
four thousand dollar misstake and will sell out for half price and
lick my wounds.

Doug, are you using a machine that is capable of using the cp/m language?
If so, please let me know as my Eureka braille computer also uses that
language and I have yet to find a good piece of software that will let me use
the rs232 port and an external modem.
By the way, if anyone here is wanting to sell an external that they no
longer need, please make me aware of that.
