Would you BK> please let me know the information as well, as I might like to BK> also check it out. Bill. The Florida telemarketer had the the phone numbers on their mainframe and they were fed to the individual terminals where the operater would hit a key and begin the call. It would not be valid in Denver. -=joe=- -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!150!140!Joe.Chamberlain Internet: Joe.Chamberlain@f140.n150.z1.fidonet.org

I'm still MA> not sure if that would be too much stress for me to handle or not MA> but assuming I try it, can you tell me how you as a blind person got MA> around the need to be able to read the phone book or lists of phone MA> numbers? Do you have a sighted reader put the numbers on tape or MA> have you found some other way to manage MA> it that doesn't require sighted help. Hi Marda I don't know about where you are looking for a job in telamarketing. One of the many jobs I had in working my way through school was in that field. The way that the company I worked for did this was by computer. Leads were input by secretarial staff to the computer, The system then fed you the leaddxs as you needed them. You could marked in an agency using one of these systems with adaptive equipment.
