[net.columbia] Shuttle Readied for Move to VAB

sjb (05/19/82)

The Columbia was readied today to be towed to the Vehicle Assembly Building,
where it will stay for about a week to be mated with an external tank and
two SRB's. The movement will have come 48 days after it landed at White
Sands after STS-3. In the Orbital Processing Facility, 1,032 tiles were
replaced. Ten spots remain to be filled with tiles, seven of them to be
filled in the VAB, three at the launch pad. The S-band radios were also
fixed along with the toilet. Rollout to the launch pad is now scheduled
for 26 May.
