SB> have deliberately stayed out of those organizations because I believe
SB> that Unfortunately, many who join them have them as their only social
SB> outlet, and I have more social life than ican handle.

Well, Stew, I don't think that people who join organizations of the
blind have no other social outlets. I have enough social outlets,
and I belong to the ACB. I don't think that social outlets have
anything to do with it.

SB> I would continue to fight for what I believe in, and go your own way.
SB> You don't really need an organization to stand up for your
 SB> convictions.

I have to disaggree with you there. You cannot sway any law making
body by yourself. It takes numbers to make congress or
legislatures, or any politician to listen.

Sorry for the pain it has caused you, but I just don't

SB> believe any organization which would consider expultion under those
SB> shabby circumstances, is worth getting worked up over.

Now, there I agree with you. I would not belong to an organization
which did that either. That doesn't make all organizations bad.

btw Stew, I asked you this before, and either you forgot to answer,
or the message did not get to you. Do you know a friend of mine
who has retired from there. His name is Wilbert Tyler.

               Walter
