[This is from the Blink Talk Conference]

[Note from Bill McGarry: By the time you read this, this should be
on my BBS and I will try to get it on the SIMTEL20 archives as well.]

The newest version (0.25) of Tinytalk is out now. There is now support
for the ASP board from AFI, all synthesizers using PortTalk, and
the Accent series as well as the Echo. Also, there's a new facility
for reading spreadsheet column titles.

For all you newcomers, Tinytalk is an experimental screen reader
for IBM compatibles. In addition to being powerful, it lives up
to its name; it takes up only 16K at runtime. It will soon become
a commercial product (at a VERY affordable price) but since it's
not quite finished yet, it's generally available for evaluation.

TTALK025.ZIP is available for download (first-time callers OK) or
file request (points OK) from the COPH-2 BBS (115/778, 312-286-0608,
2400 max, all hours except ZMH). It has also been sent to BlinkLink
(129/89) and Bensalem (273/210); contact the sysops there for

availability.

I do ask that if you choose to use Tinytalk, you register with me
(no cost--address in the documentation) so that I can get as much

feedback as possible. All registered users will receive the eventual
commercial version at a DEEP discount.
