Index Number: 12531 For anyone who might be interested, the well-known retired pathologist, Dr. Kevorkian, a.k.a. Dr. Death, inventor of the so-called "suicide machine" has won a major, perhaps his last, legal battle. All criminal charges filed against him as a result of his alleged participation in the suicide of a woman several months ago have been dropped. Does the precedent established here imply that it is OK to assist someone to commit suicide, so long as the attempt is successful? Maybe this could develop into a string of franchises... <har>
