Index Number: 12055 Just in case some of you missed it, Bill Irwin completed his hike of the total length of the Appalachian Trail (over 2000 miles) today. HE If I recall correctly, he is 50 and has been blind for the last 22 years. His guide dog was the only one accompanying him. It took Bill eight months to complete his accomplishment. The news made both TV and radio. He was also featured on TV sometime during the 8 month period. Good education for Mr/Ms Public to see that the disabled are able. Cheers, TM -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!272!21!Gary.Greiner Internet: Gary.Greiner@f21.n272.z1.fidonet.org
