Last year, while working at the George Mason University's
Center for disAbilities, I worked on a database which was
designed to help the "Deaf-Blind" Technical Assistance
Center track students with dual sensory impairments. As
of last spring, they had identified about 200 children
across Virginia with dual sensory impairments who were
being served by public and private educational institut-
ions. You might converse with the TAC director, Julie
Jones, about services to that population in Virginia:
