MA> I think computer BBS access in rehab centers is a great idea.
MA> I would like to know more about how the centers are run. i.e.
MA> who would I contact in order to volunteer my time as a
MA> tutor/techno-jock? How would I find my local rehab center?
MA> Are they state run, private, or what?

Most rehab centers are associated with major medical
centers. Contact your local neuro department in your major
medical center for the nearest one to you. From my list I think
it is

  Santa Clara Valley Med. Ctr.
  Spinal Cord Injury Service
  751 South Bascom Avenue
  San Jose, CA 95128
  Dr. Conal Wilmot
  408-299-5643

Another thing you might consider is signing directly onto
FIDO net directly because messages get lost very easy when going
from one net to another. Some local FIDO boards are

The ARB Research Bulletin 916-324-6997 2400 8N1 09/21/90
RBBS BioMed 916-362-4298 2400 8N1 B 09/19/90
The Broken Rose 916-971-0589 2400 8N1 D 09/19/90

MA>I thought I was just one messed up camper. Now I know I belong to
MA>a whole messed up campground! I you ever get an answer post it,
MA>I hate sweating in winter.

I agree. Sweating is also connected with bladder
infections and kidney stones.

I hope this helps and will ship more to your P.O.Box
after the holidays.
