Well, the problem with the chair was that it was very difficult to  
push since the motors couldn't be completely deactivated.  It really  
proved to be a great hardship on everyone involved.

I've replaced the pneumatic tires with foam rubber inserts after 
experiencing a flat on a bike path.  As luck would have it I was right 
in the middle of the length of the path and we couldn't get the van  
down the path because it was blocked off from regular vehicle access.

Yes, it's periods like that that can really cause a person to regret 
not being able to do for yourself.  I hope that your new chair will  
arrive soon and that you don't have any problems with your tri-cart 
before you get your new chair.
