Index Number: 12993 [Note from Bill McGarry: See the next article] Hi, I needing a recommendation (ASAP) for an IBM (compatible) keyboard which can resolve a student's physical difficulty in using two keys at once. The student cannot use shift, alt or control (nor can she create characters like $ or % since caps lock doesn't handle those keys) along with another key. She is working on learning dos and basic and needs this ability this semester. Any suggestions?

Here is a list of the programs on my BBS for the mobility
impaired. The number in the listing is the size in bytes.
BBS phone number is 1-203-337-1607 (300/1200/2400 baud).
File requests from other sysops are welcome. Some of these
are in the SIMTEL20 archives. Note that there are two
different programs called 1FINGER. One is just a simple
program to allow you to use the control/alt/shift keys while
the 1FINGER here is the one developed by TRACE and is much
more sophisticated -- allows the control/etc keys to be for
the next key only or to lock, allows repeat rate to be changed,
etc, etc.
Anarkey is a command line editor that allows you
to recall past commands with just one key. Version 3
has more features and can be loaded into extended memory
but needs to have a 8 digit number typed in each time it
is loaded until it is registered.
