On second thought, Rob, fingerspelling "EMT" may not be such a good idea. A friend pointed out that, in a hurried situation", manual alphabet for "EMT" could easily be mistaken for "ENT". (First and last letters the same, and the other one very close.) ENT is an abbreviation commonly used for Otolaryngologists. I guess it derives from Ear-Nose-Throat. This is a medical specialty that most hearing impaired folks have seen far too much of already. Maybe we better stick with your suggestion 2 and/or 3. Jack. ...
