Index Number: 13011 [This is from the Chronic Pain Conference on Fidonet] I have only had relief from the injection of medication into the point. It seems that acupressure is of little help. The injections are expensive, but worth it to me. It is also painful. At times they inject into a nerve center to attempt a nerve block. I do not seem to obtain much relief from that method. Just a great deal of pain involved from the procedure. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!300!7!Bill.Logan Internet: Bill.Logan@f7.n300.z1.fidonet.org

Index Number: 13253 [This is from the Chronic Pain Conference on Fidonet] Bill, I don't seem to get much relief from pressure on the "trigger point", though other folks of our acquaintance do. Once however when I had a bad sinus headache, my husband tried pressing all the trigger points on my face which were supposed to help and then finally pressed one on the top of my head of all places and it helped! I think that was referred pain or something...? Nerves must be strange things...anyway, best wishes to you for pain relief!
