Index Number: 13257 The idea of their being a categoric link between MS and mercury is not being forwarded by scientists. What is bening suggested is that some people with MS symptoms actually have sensitivities. The lesson is to get checked for sensitivities if you have a long-term disabling illness, and to eperience different diets and environments in order to see if you can establish connections between eposure and symptom levels. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!163!113!Chris.Brown Internet: Chris.Brown@f113.n163.z1.fidonet.org

Thanks for your contributions; I guess we will do this all again in 4 or 5 years. Index Number: 13331 Chris, Thank you for this Chris. I agree sensativities should be looked into. I think this is something that should be looked into in close cooperation with ones nuro. Is there a specific test you feel is the most effective in determining ones level of sensitivity? Index Number: 13340 Im not sure why a nuro should be the one to investigate sensitivities. Could you explain this? As I mentioned, I do not know of a test for mercury senstivity that is reliable. That is why I feel consumers should be advised of the possibility, and allowed to make up their own minds. If the doctor or dentist involved is threatened by the consumer being thusly empowered, he or she should be relieved of his/her involvement, and sent on a course in basic business practice and professional ethics. There is only one way I know of of determining if mercury is causing a systemic problem: remove the mercury and see if there is an improvement. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!163!113!Chris.Brown Internet: Chris.Brown@f113.n163.z1.fidonet.org
