Index Number: 13405 CH> Has anyone found a program which will let you read long text files. That CH> is, one which will let you read for a while, quit, and hold your place so CH> you can come back tomorrow and read some more. What I do is use wordperfect, and when I want to quit, I just block off the file from where I am, to the top, and cut it off, and then save it under a different name. When I come back tomorrow, I bring up the cut file, and I am where I left off. I still have the cut file, which I can do the same thing to if I don't finish reading it today. I also have the original file that is why you save it under a new name. Walter -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!396!5.18!Walter.Siren Internet: Walter.Siren@p18.f5.n396.z1.fidonet.org

Index Number: 13531 [This is from the Blink Talk Conference] Chris: there is a program called Ralph.exe which should do what you want. When you bring up a document with ralph and leave to come back later or even the next day, if you remember where you were when you quit you can jump to that point and start reading again. You might try that one. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!377!6!Stew.Bowden Internet: Stew.Bowden@f6.n377.z1.fidonet.org
