the line of duty who know suffers from right sided paralysis. The person
is in and out of Deppresion and is having a hard time accepting the
situation.

and would like to know of any kind of advice you may have.I would like to
introduce this friends, friend into the concept of Computing For Handicapped

Philip, I know exactly what the Officer is going through. I too was a
police officer and became disabled (CMT). Although a gun shot disability
has to be more traumatic than a disorder, I can relate to his depression
about his situation. I went through it all and the only one that can help
him is him. He has to accept the challenge and realize that he can still
be productive with his life. After the depression was defeated, I applied
myself to develop computer skills that enable me to function as the
supervisor of the Crime Analysis and Crime Stopper Units of a police
department. The Montreal officer could do something similar. It's up to
him! Friends can make it a little easier but when it gets right down to
it, he has to make the decision alone.
