The MAJOR networks, ABC, CBS, and NBC put captions in their broadcasts. CNN does not! Apparently CNN does not care about hearing impaired people receiving news telecasts. Last October President Bush signed into law the TV Decoder Circuitry Act. This will require that all new TV sets 13" or larger have the ability to receive captions without the need of a separate "box". This becomes effective in 1993. Maybe CNN will then reconsider it's discrimination against hearing impaired people. Jack. ps: I have a "box" on my TV. :-) ...
