IEP is a big pain in the rear. I know. I'm under the program. I'm
glad to say that I fought it. I have been fighting for the deaf to be
put under the BI-LINGUSTIC act not the "special" education department
among these with learning disability and/or emotional problem.

Just last month, they were after my ass (forgive my choice of words)
to take a series of testing for my Triannual elevuation, and I refused.
I wrote a letter to the special education dept clearly stating my
reasons why I choose to refuse. I haven't heard from them ever since.

Good for you for refusing to take some damfool "evaluation" when you are
close to graduation! Your grades should be evaluation enough.

If you haven't already, go running to your Vocational Rehabilitation
office for various services which you might find useful--including
financial aid.
