I have a daughter in Spring Hill, Flordia, that has had two (2)
bucher'd back operations and now the doctor has the guts to say
"well if you'd quit babing her she'd be ok". She is 34 years old
and this was an industrial accident in Arizona and workman's Comp.
tells her where to go and what doctor to see. On top of that she
gat a thief for a lawyer. She has been trying to change and they
tell her that she can't have any doctor except for the one they
send her to. They told her yesterday that she is going to have to
go back to Arizona to the Doctor there and that her husband can't
go.
Now I don't know Flordia Law and I do know that they are strange.
I'm in Wisconsin and they couldn't get away with that up here. Can
anyone give me some insite on Flodria Workers Comp. Law, and maybe
recomend someone or agency that she can see for help.
Here in Wisconsin we have the Medical College of Wisconsin that she
could go to and also we have a County Medical Complex that she
could go to that they would treat her regardless and then help her
fight the workman's comp. people. I know I have a disk missing in
the C5-C6 area with a nerve pinched in the same area and also a
nerve pinched in the C10 area. I have lost 25% of the feeling on my
left hand and arm and 3% on the right side, plus I have 10+ pain
level in my neck, sholders and 100++++ headaches but they have been
able to reduce the headaches by 80% and keep the other pain at
about a 5. They are going to decide this afternoon on what they can
and cannot do to correct this problem. Now I'm a laid off
Semi-driver and my wife is going thru Cancer treatments at the same
facilty and they say they will worry about the payments after they
fix the problem.
Anyone from Flordia that can give some advice, please leave message
for me here!
