When I use my Braille and Speak in Speechbox mode, I can't seem to turn
off the translator. It translates everything coming in into grade two
braille and says such things as can instead of c at the dos prompt.
When I am in a file and using the unit as a synthesizer, I can turn the
translator on or off at will, but how do I turn it off in Speechbox
mode? Can anyone help.

I had this problem a long time ago. I called Blazie and they said
the problem was due to the translator somehow getting turned on in
the clipboard file. I'd suggest one of two things. 1. do a warm
reset. 2. If 1 doesn't work, open the clipboard, go to the status
menu, hit t, and answer n. Hope this helps.

 Chris

It can be fixed. Got a few thousand?

Jerry,
Perhaps the translator is on in clipboard. The Bns remembers whether the
translator is on or off in a file. When you enter speech box mode the
information goes to the clipboard. If you haven't already done this go
into the clipboard and turn off the translator. This hopefully should
solve your problem.
