Grant,
     As the proud new owner of a Soundingboard, I feel I have to add to
this...
     I was always impressed with the quality of speech from the
Soundingboard ever since I first heard it at the ACB convention in 1989,
but I didn't know about all the other options it gives as well!  I still
havn't finished reading the manual and playing with all the goodies, but
I've sure had fun playing with the hot keys, redefining them and such,
and to think that this is all available in a board that sells for $395!
How much is the current Symphonics board going for anyways?
     And oh yeah, I'm not sure, but isn't the Soundingboard unique in
its ability to load the text to speech into its own ram, or at least in
its price category?
