Hi Frank:

FH> The last SHHH Journal had an article in it about computerized
FH> notetaking. In one of the sidebars it mentioned that the SHHH
FH> Technical Committee has been looking at the technology, and has
FH> gotten satisfactory results with some unnamed $600 unit. Do you
FH> have any information on that?

The projection panel used at the SHHH board meeting yesterday was a
SHARP QA-25. Results could be considered adequate, if not outstanding.
It still needs more contrast, but I've seen worse.

Paul Hopler (current Secretary of SHHH) has done some personal
research on computer projection panels, and is planning a Journal
article and/or a presentation on this at Denver. Paul would value
any comments you might have on these devices. He hopes to have a
"lab" set up at the Denver convention with about 5 or so different
panels so they can be compared in the same setting. You can
contact Paul c/o the National Office.

BTW, I just learned that the 1993 Convention is to be in beautiful
San Diego. Congratulations.
