Index Number: 14164 [This is from the Blink Talk Conference] If you think about it it wasn't to many years ago that we didn't have the Arkanstone, Oscar, or the KPR to discuss the pros or cons of much less use. I guess there are always two ways to look at things. One is to say that the technology is improving, changing, and becoming cheaper all the time therefore when you buy a piece of equipment today it will be replaced by a piece that does more quicker, better, and faster tomorrow. I feel fortunate that I can take my mail out of my box, put it on the KPR, and for the most part know what I've got. I was even more impressed with the Oscar's abilities but there are some iminuses there such as the ability not to hold as many pages as the KPR, the ease of reading columns, and the advantage of having everything in one system. The ilusive perfect reader! I wunder if it will ever be here? Grant -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!381!9.0!Grant.Downey Internet: Grant.Downey@p0.f9.n381.z1.fidonet.org
