A high NASA official said yesterday that the fifth flight of the space shuttle will probably land at KSC. Though they do not yet have cross winds landing experience, NASA people feel confident that the shuttle can land there, after they saw how well it performed on EAFB's concrete runway. In other news, the same official said that the failure of the parachutes may have been caused by a malfunctioning sensor that cut half of the lines leading to the main parachutes, preventing the others from opening, as it opened instead of upon impact with the water.
