What he found was that autistic children had extremely sensitive senses - e.g. they would wake up in the middle of the night and would hear the roar of their own blood circulating, normal tone of speech was sometimes unbearable, or they would see a rainbow of colours in a speck of dust. The very wierd thing about the article was that he was able to treat an autistic child some years ago with some sort of special music, the child , now a grown woman, is currently in University and was going to be married.
