Hi Kathy,
Glad to see you on blink talk and VIBUG. I would look into savings bank
life in Massachusetts. It is a good value. I spent a short stint as a
life insurance salesman many years ago, and most companies do not
discriminate for life insurance because of blindness. I guess actuarily
speaking, we blinks live about as long as anyone else. Good luck.

Kathy, most of the good insurance companies do not exclude blind
people from life insurance. I am not saying that they won't charge
a higher rate, but most of them will insure you. I have never had
any problem in getting life insurance.

Hi Walt: regarding your comments to Kathy about life insurance, I
know of one company which, not only will insure blind people, but all
things being equal, that is no other medical problems, will insure
blind people without any rate up whatsoever. That company is Newyork
Life. You might advise Kathy to check that one out. By the way, I
haven't forgotten your question about cards which advertise 50% more
space on your hard drive. Am attending the computer users group
Monday, February 18, and will try to get information for you then.
