Oh!!! you are so right about that.  Also the response time si slow.
Dectalk is excellent for reading and so is Vert Plus for that matter if
you remember toturn off the punctuation off.  Neither of those products
have good response time.  However no boardmember is thinking about that
when he hears the output.  Yesterday several people came through and my
boss clearly made it known that he would prefer that I use either the
Dectalks or the Vet Plusunits for demonstration purposes simply because
he can understand them.

If an individual has the need the absolute need for excellent
quality speech and does lots of straight reading I could see
puting out extra for a dectalk and with my hearing the way it is
I'm surprised I'm even saying that.  However for everyday work I
love my Soundingboard, Votalker, ETC.  I might think differently
if I had the money to spend but pay is low in this here border
town and individuals aren't allowed to have budget deffecits so
Me and my Soundingboard are going to hang tuff for a long time.
