Regardless of how you feel, you've got to have had some interesting experiences. I personally, belive that blind people should pay for transportation. I do feel, that some type of discount, should be employed, but it should be bassed on income, and not just disability, and definetely not just blindness. Anyway, one time I was taking the subway to the aiport, and the driver told me that it was against the law for him to collect money from me. I told him that it was my option, and he said that if I wanted to be that way I could. Another time, a bus driver told me I should give the money I pay for the buses to a poor box in a church. Thats all I can think of now, but let's discuss this issue. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!101!460.0!Mika.Pyyhkala Internet: Mika.Pyyhkala@p0.f460.n101.z1.fidonet.org

Once in a great while I run into a bus driver who won't let me pay . The only regret I have is that it usually is when the bus fare is low like when I'm on a transfer. Sure it makes me feel uncomfortable and "different" but I don't argue. Bus fare is too high anyway. All joking aside this "based on income " idea is fine but tough to impliment unless its like a senior citizens pass where they ride for free. That would be nice. If they want payment give me a descent job then it won't be necessary.. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!129!89!Paul.Guido Internet: Paul.Guido@f89.n129.z1.fidonet.org
