Index Number: 14050 I have what I usually term an "aesthetic handicap", which in my case is a physical handicap (provided it can be called this way) having no major functional consequences but causing (due to the fact that it can be noticed by the other persons) some "social" problems (as for instance, some difficulties in the relationships with the other sex). I would like to know if somebody out there is in a similar situation (I hope this is the right newsgroup) in order to talk about it. Marco (MPACE@ESOC.BITNET)

I bet you have heard that old line 'physical beauty is only skin deep' a thousand times. Well, consider this..... I'm confined to a wheelchair. Have muscle spasms which are a turn off. Have a nose which can be used for the ski jumping trials. And depending on the weather, the time of day, and how much I've been sweating I could have B.O. bad enough to make the stables smell pleasant. With all those demerits I have still managed to find to women who married me. One for six years, and one for 10 years. On top of that I still found others I could cheat with and date before, between, and after divorces. Keep trying. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!150!140!Joe.Chamberlain Internet: Joe.Chamberlain@f140.n150.z1.fidonet.org
