Mike Giden has asked about places to purchase devices to assist
a hearing impaired mother to monitor baby sounds. Several distributors
of assistive devices for the hearing impaired handle this kind of
item. For example, the "Baby Cry Signal" is available from the
Hi-Tec Group for about $40. Use of the signaler would also require
a receiver and a signaling lamp or bed vibrator. I might suggest
you contact a couple of distributors of such devices and ask for
