I'm inquiring for a friend of a friend of a friend, so I don't have
a lot of specifics, but I'd appreciate any leads you might have
concerning the following:

A person is looking for software which is suitable for her husband
who has a brain injury as the result of an accident. His reading
level is somewhere between 6th and 8th grade. He and his wife
live in Canada and she is looking for software that he can use,
such as word processing, as well as games and such that are
cognitively stimulating. They have an Apple computer, but I'm not
sure which model.

Does anyone have any information as to where they can purchase
software in Canada (through mail order) that is suitable for people
with brain injuries? Any names and addresses of catalogs would be
appreciated. Is there perhaps a disability clearinghouse or
governmental agency in Canada that they could contact for such
information? If not, are there organizations or mail order
companies that they could contact in the U.S. for this type of
software?

Please send any information to me at the following email address:
DDZ AT PSUVM (on BITNET) or DDZ AT PSUVM.PSU.EDU (on INTERNET)

Thanks.
