Have you ever thought of life in which
to a wheelchair you're confined?
Your life would now, somehow, forever
be defined.
Your limbs would all be useless
never to move again.
Your old life, would now be over,
your new life to begin.
You may never be able to imagine this
but I have met a few.
And I know one particular one
who's stronger than me and you.
His life was changed by one incident
but stop him it did not.
I've watched him over the years
and he has taught me a lot.
So never think of them as handicapped
because they are as capable as you.
And even though they may not walk,
they are people too.
