MP> Norton Utilities Mika, I regularly use an older version of NOrton utilities, and most are definately speech compatible. The NU program itself is a little tricky when doing things like trying to restore a lost subdirectory or file, but since most of the executables in the package can be run separately with a command line switch or two, they are no problem at all. MP> Money Counts I've run this with several speech programs, each requiring a little setting up of windows and the like, but again, quite usable with speech in general. Maggi uses Money Counts regularly for her business, so when she returns from her vacation, perhaps she'll say more. MP> Managing Your Money That's a new one on me. MP> Data Perfect I've never used it, but it seems to me somebody here talked about it a while back in the echo. Keep your fingers crossed and maybe they're still around! MP> Thanks, You're welcome! Index Number: 15171 [This is from the Blink Talk Conference] I've used Norton util versions 4.5 and version5 with speech no problem. Some of the screens in nu itself are a bit tricky, choices are highlighted etc, but for many of them, you can simply type the letter of the choice you want, and it'll work like a charm. One application that's hard for me to use with speech is pctools. Has anyone had much luck with that one? Later.. Chris data is just data, information is useful. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!124!4115.233!Christopher.Hill Internet: Christopher.Hill@p233.f4115.n124.z1.fidonet.org
