There are 2 condominiums and 2 cooperatives available in the city of Boston in
newly rehabbed buildings. All these units are wheelchair accessible,
according to the latest specs. They are available to qualified buyers
(preference given to current Boston residents) at below-market prices, with
low-money down (about 5%), special mortgages (ranging from 5.8% to 8.5%
interest, to start), and slightly easier qualifying terms.

The current units are as follows:
   CONDOS:
      South End 1-bedroom - $75,000. (market-rate 2 bedroom also available)
      Charlestown 2-bedroom - $95,000

  COOPS (limited equity) -
Brighton - 2 bedrooms - $655 per month + $1750 to buy your share of
                                     the cooperative.

There are also 2-bedroom condos available in Somerville, built under special
housing programs. They are wheelchair accessible, below market priced, and
available on rent-to-buy programs for individuals without down payments.
