Index Number: 15260 To Sheila Fava and anyone else who took interest in her posted poem wheelchair fishing, etc. There is a fellow outside of Denver who is building a fully-accessible boardwalk trail to the top of a mountain. About a mile so far, the trail will eventually be about 6 miles long. Follows a mountain stream, and has turn-outs with a railing wherever there is a good fishing hole. Also accessible decks for overnight camping or just a lunch stop. The trail is 8-10 feet wide wooden decking, with switchbacks to guarantee a suitable grade. Accessible restrooms at the base. I don't have the address handy, but the organization he's created is WOW (Wilderness on Wheels), and you can get it from the Denver phone operator.
