Hi Paul,

This question has come up before and I was able to find
only one talking thermometer.

The American Foundation for the Blind seem to have the only
talking thermometer around.  Here is a full description from
the ABLEDATA database from the Adaptive Equipment Center,

Description: Thermometer with voice output comes with two probes, one
for body temperature and general purposes, the other for high heat.
Functions as a clinical thermometer, as indoor or outdoor thermometer
and as a cooking thermometer.  The clinical probe is plastic with a
smooth edged metal tip and is accurate to within one tenth degree.
It measures from 95 Fahrenheit to 105 Fahrenheit and 35 Centrigrade
to 40 Centrigrade.  It measures air tempertures from -25 to 250
degrees Fahrenheit or -32 to 232 degrees Centrigrade.  The high heat
probe (for use in oven) is used for temperatures from 80 Fahrenheit
to 450 Fahrenheit.  on/off switch, volume control, earphonse plug and
special switch for clinical use are all marked in braille.  The
probes are white; when not in use they are stored in a case.  The
thermometer comes in a high impact resistant case with a carrying
strap.  Rechargeable battery, AC adapter and recharger included.
Braille and large print instructions.  Size 5 1/2 inches by 3 1/2
inches by 1 3/8 inches.
