I am going to be outfitted with a TENS device for back pain. I have tried
it once, and will try it one more time before deciding. I am interested in
hearing from others who use TENS on a daily basis. Where do you get supplies,
any problems associated with it, any general comments. I am able to walk, so
hearing from other walking folk would be appreciated, but anyone with info is
welcome to comment.

[This is from the Chronic Pain Conference on Fidonet]

I have suffered back pain for 14
yrs. now. I had a disc rupture in
my back and it caused severe
nerve damage. The Dr. said I
would never walk again, at that
time I was 24, With lots of
willpower and 3 kids to take care
of.< Two have Cerebral Palsey > I
knew I had to get better, so with
alot of therepy, prayers, I have
came a long way. I still have
back problems ,some days worse
than others, but I am a fighter.
I have a Tens Unit and NO I
wouldn't recommend one for
anybody, it was a waste of money
as far as I'm concerned.
